Mind Over Matters
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) can be a direct step into care from the community as well as an added support to traditional outpatient services. It’s designed to help individuals who are either experiencing an increase in distressing symptoms and behaviors or for those who are not progressing in traditional outpatient services.
IOP is a group therapy-based program. Clients attend IOP anywhere from three to five days per week for a minimum of three hours each day.
Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.
You may be required by court to participate in our Outpatient Intensive Care Program. This may satisfy a court order to help you with changing behaviors and coping skills. We can help you or your client through this proces and on the road to recovery.
We provide a variety of tests to help with monitoring the progress of our clients. We also test our clients who are in our IOP just to insure the ongoing integrity of the program. We believe this is an essential part of the treatment process.
In individual therapy, each client works one-on-one with a trained therapist to gain insight and increase awareness and control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The therapist provides a safe and confidential environment where clients can explore and process their beliefs and experiences that may be causing challenges in their relationships and other areas of life. We can help our clients to unpack the reasons behind their addiction, as well as address any mental health issues that you may be experiencing.
Peer Support services can be offered as an addition to other services or as a standalone service. Certified Peer Specialists (CPSS) offer shared life experiences in mental health and substance use recovery as they walk alongside you on your recovery journey.
